Named after the Persian term for a place where loved ones gather and share a meal, chef-owner Nasim Alikhani welcomes guests into her restaurant with thoughtful offerings of fragrant saffron rice and freshly baked breads, perfect for soaking up herbaceous stews, flavorful braises, and borani prepared with housemade yogurt. For groups, the downstairs dining room offers two long tables seating up to 20, where the small plates can and should be passed around.
