Bar Meridian

This modern corner bar in Prospect Heights is the first solo project from Sage Geyer, an alum of Union Pool and Kinfolk 94. Unlike his previous spots, it’s not really a place to turn up, but that’s not to say you won’t have a great time. Excellent cocktails, a regular jukebox happy hour, and the delicious menu of elevated bar fare - think bologna sandwiches and the fan-favorite day old spaghetti - keep the seats filled both indoors and outdoors, in a neighborhood that’s not necessarily known for nightlife. The interior is dominated by a large, horseshoe shaped bar surrounded by cozy leather booths, while the patio extends additional seating onto a quiet stretch of Grand Avenue. Bar Meridian accommodates parties of up to 40, and can pre-batch cocktails as you’d like for a special welcome touch.
