Tiger Beer STREATS

In December 2016, to celebrate the power of Tiger Beer and street food to bring us closer, Tiger Beer launched Tiger STREATS: a dinner series that sought to connect people from all walks of life over diverse offerings. In today’s world, where it seems everything from politics to fashion conspires to divide us, Tiger STREATS was the one place where we can sit shoulder to shoulder to share an ice cold Tiger Beer.              

Tiger STREATS was the world’s first street food meets fine dining experience, where two chefs with vastly different backgrounds — but similar top culinary accolades — joined forces to create a collaborative meal meant to encourage guests to form unexpected connections. Tiger STREATS resident Hawker Chan Hon Meng, owner of the one Michelin Star food stall Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle in Singapore, partnered with Christopher Kostow, chef of the three Michelin Star The Restaurant at Meadowood in Napa Valley. The chefs combined their signature styles to create a three-course “four-star” meal served alongside Asia’s brew of choice, Tiger Beer. The event illustrated that no matter our backgrounds, breaking bread can bring us closer to together.
